Comparison of One-Way and Two-Way Coupled Simulation for Thermal Investigation of Vehicular Wireless Power Transfer Modules

چکیده
The thermal management of the vehicular module is key to design efficient wireless power transfer systems. In order predict behavior by simulation, mutual interaction electromagnetic and fields must be taken into account. This multiphysical coupling leads extensive computational effort. One approach reduce complexity limiting interdependencies between domains one-way coupling. paper examined applicability two-way for prediction an exemplary module. electromagnetic–thermal proposed was systematically studied experiments simulations on component level. performed studies showed that both simulation approaches accurately capture transient coil ferrites level, whereas coupled underpredicts losses caused shielding more than 20%, leading a steady-state temperature difference 15 K.
